This vanilla cake with Kahlua raspberry buttercream is the perfect quarantine dessert

The cake is moist and light while the buttercream is rich and tasty. I admit, I do not bake that often and when I do, I usually opt for cupcakes because they’re easy and no-fuss. I have always been intimidated by cakes and particularly layer cakes. But after make this vanilla cake with Kahlua raspberry buttercream, I am hooked. So hooked in fact, I had to give half this cake to my neighbor so I didn’t sit and eat it all in one sitting. The basis of this recipe is a simple vanilla cake. Tandoori baby corn in oven, baked with Indian spices just like we do panner

Full video, step by step pictures recipe. I am making baby corn in baked version for first time. I always had a beautiful imagination to make it just like mini version of corn bhutta with tooth picks inserted. But wanted to take no risk or experiment when I am cooking it as side dish for Aj. I was not sure how it would turn until I took it out. But it was really good and easy to make it too I thought (if not I wasn’t complicating to take video and pictures). Just baked it in super simple steps like we do Paneer. For a while, I have been buying organic baby corn only as Vj keep complaining about some...

I was doomed whenever someone brought a box into work, and now whenever I pass a doughnut shop on the street and smell a fresh batch, I have to stop and treat myself. As somewhat of a doughnut expert (at least I like to think so), the best doughnuts of all, in my opinion, are apple cider doughnuts. Traditionally, these are heavily associated with fall, when apples, cider, and flannel are everywhere. But there's no reason why you can't enjoy them any time of the year, especially if instead of regular cider you use hard apple cider for a boozy upgrade! For my...

Banana cake is a great simple way to use up those overripe bananas that despite best efforts, we almost always get left with.

Jump to Recipe I eat a banana every day so i buy quite a few each week, but some how they go from perfect to black in the blink of an eye. I hate to throw any thing away. They are actually at their best for cakes when they are black, and have a better more intense favour. I would only recommend using very ripe/over ripe bananas for a cake. The riper they are the better. You can help them along a bit by putting them in the oven. Read food 52 article on it here to see how. Banana cake I have made so many banana cakes before, but i adapted them slightly to fill this larger tin. This...
