My daughter’s birthday is literally just around the corner

I can’t believe I’m about to have an 11 year old. Even so, I’m doing my very best to take this birthday extra special since, well, times are still rather strange in the world. One of the things I’m doing to make her day even more magical is making cake! Okay, so… not cake-cake. She had pretty specific instructions on wanting a cookie cake again this year. For our wedding reception, we had mini cannoli from Isgro’s brought in and I may or may not have gone on a “eat cannoli every single day” binge during our honeymoon in Sicily. True be told, my favorite part of the cannoli is the super...

Developing new recipes often takes time and lots of trial and error… We often have to make a new recipe two or three times to get it just right (if not more!). We nailed this Gluten Free Chocolate Yogurt Cake with Strawberry Coulis Recipe the very first time we made it!! Honestly, I would have loved making it a few times in a row- it’s that good! I absolutely LOVE this twist on a traditional chocolate cake! The SO Delicious Unsweetened Plain Coconutmilk Yogurt Alternative is the star of this recipe. It makes this cake SO moist and delicious! To keep it gluten free, we used a mixture of my favorite grain free flours: cassava, almond, and coconut. The cocoa...
